Now unless you’re a professional photographer yourself, a photographer will take much better pictures than you. You might think you’re doing a good job and even saving some money but the opposite is probably true. The photos are the foundation of your marketing and you should hire a pro.

Photographing a property is very difficult. The lighting is usually terrible which causes blown out windows or really dark rooms, both very unattractive to potential buyers. Consumer level cameras don’t have wide angle lens which are a must to fully capture a whole room. A quality camera and lens make a huge difference.

To overcome bad lighting, photographers can use external lighting sources at the time of the shoot or use computer software to make the colors pop and brighten the rooms. Having a well lit room is the secret that sells.

When you are out to shoot your pet with a camera, you will need to be a master at reading the mind of the pet. Fortunately, you will have the owner briefing you about the temperament of the pet in question and in most cases guiding you regarding its moods and personality.

Besides, the animal itself, you will also need to pay attention to the following critical aspects in pet photography:

1. The angle – being a photographer, you will understand what it means to create the right impact in the end product, i.e. the photograph. That impact comes often from being able to shoot the animals from the right angle, depending on whether they are tall or tiny.

There are many types of poses to take at a wedding. Its crucial to take the pictures before the wedding happens as it is while its happening. You will get some ideas from the three different pose themes for before the wedding.

Bride Before:

There are lots of bride before shots, here are a few:

- Watching the bride run in her usual clothes to go and get changed and ready before the wedding.

- Bride getting hair done; with people fussing over her

- Having the bride in her dress still in the dressing room

- The bride talking with her mother and brides maids

Some of them can be candid, or the actual set up to make the story be told. It really depends on how creative you’re allowed to get.

The important thing is to make sure you get as many pictures as possible of the bride, and make sure they are all appropriate too.

Getting the Groom Before:

The groom is not as important as the bride when it comes to the before pictures, however they still need to be in there.

When you get done with the bride you should head over to the groom and take photos of him talking to people: His father, best man, and his mother.

In making sure to get the story you could set up some poses of talking. Some could be of the son in law talking to his new father. This is a classical one and always manages to end up in a photo album. Catching it in candid is a lot better because then it has an actual story to tell.

Years ago, photo editing was a laborious and tedious process. If you wanted to change more than the bare basics, such as lighting or darkening a photo, you could figure on many hours of work ahead of you.

If you wanted to remove an element from a photo, that would take days. You would have to replace that object or feature with other items from the photo and try to make it blend. Say you had a picture of a group of people and you wanted to remove one of them from the group. That seems simple now but it used to take days.

Now, it could take minutes. There are computer programs like Photoshop that have made it much easier to change the features of the photo. Little things like lighting and exposure are now very simple to adjust.

Sadly, this means that it is also much easier to change the content of the photo itself. You can easily now present an image that is not accurate.

When we have a picture taken by a photojournalist, this is supposed to be news. That means facts, rather than fiction. This should be the guiding philosophy behind any changes made. It’s one thing to correct a color problem or to darken an overexposed image. It’s another to change a calm sky to make it appear stormy.

Other small changes are tantamount to telling lies to the viewer. For instance, if you add smoke to a scene, or add more people to make a crowd seem larger, this isn’t making it more dramatic or enhancing its representativeness.
