A San Francisco street punk, Mack McKinley found a home and a purpose when he became a GhostWalker. He would do anything for his teammates. His only negative is when his beloved Jaimie Fielding abruptly left the GhostWalkers two years ago taking his heart with her.
Jamie quit when she could not get her beloved Mack to see the sinister side to the GhostWalker program. She vowed to go alone and find the proof to expose those in charge. However, her efforts have come to the attention of those same people who want the status quo, which means using the GhostWalkers against one of their former associates. Mack and his team following a weapons shipment from Beirut end up in her San Francisco home with him literally on top of her; as she points out someone wanted them back together, but she does not trust their matchmaker. When she tries again like she did two years ago to explain the other side of the leadership, he listens though he still doubts her theory but more important to him he vows to keep his Jamie safe although it rocks his world to do so.
This is an enjoyable urban romantic suspense thriller as the telepathic GhostWalkers are betrayed from within and thereby struggle to survive. The story line is action-packed, but clearly fueled by the volatile relationship between Mack and Jaimie who may have a second chance at love if they live long enough. Christine Feehan provides a superb entry in her thrilling saga.

Christine Feehan has done it again. I have read all of her books and to me Street Game’s storyline is very interesting and very thorough. I could not put it down. A great read.

I love this book, Christine Feehan is a wonderful author that makes the characters come to life. Jaime & Mack are amazing, the love he has for her is something thats out of this world. I enjoyed this book so much that I have read this book about 8 times already.

Mack and Jaimie were childhood sweethearts but when Jaimie is not sure Mack has a heart in their relationship she decides to take off. Two years later she has established a new life for herself when suddenly Mack and the rest of their friends show up at her doorstep having recieved misguided information that it’s a place where terrorists keep illegal weapons.
Is it really an accident that they were sent there? Or did someone wanted them together? Whitney? Or someone else?
Together they have to figure out who in their line of command is a friend and who is not. It looks like they have a spy in their own team.
I wasn’t sure at first that I was going to like a book about a new team. I expected a book from characters I love like Ian McGillicuddy. Or Tucker.
Well, I love the book anyway. We are beeng introduced to the whole new group of Ghostwalkers. We already know Brian from Predatory Game. He is in this group. There are so many interesting men here I can’t wait to have their story told.
And I have to say one thing – I love it when author gives us ‘teasers’ – showing us what couples end up together. She has done it several times before (Drake sisters-Ilja and Jolie, Elle and Jackson, Hannah and Jonas, and also Dark series..) and she does it again here.
(Spoiler alert!)
Looks like Brian hasn’t gotten over Patsy yet. And remember Mari mentioned how they had to rush to escape the compound because one of the woman was pregnant, and father of the baby helped them escape, he is in this team and he is searching for her. And we meet another very interesting ghostwalker Javier who looks like a teenager, acts like a teenager, uses his skateboard as a cover and is actually a complete genius, he has feelings for another ghostwalker girl who is fighting overseas at the moment.
Overall really really good book. Someone mentioned here how Jaimie is giving in a lot and that review actually scared me into thinking I wouldnt like it, but when I got the book it didnt bother me that much. Maybe I would take half a star off of total 5, but IMO it is not that bad to turn it into 3 star book. There is plenty of action going on and you keep having surprises thrown at you. Its another good book from Christine Feehan

I was leary to read about a whole new team, I very much like the characters from team one (Ryland’s team). Christine Feehan out did anything prior. The whole team are wonderfully inventive. They are a complex entertaining crew. The teams interactions with eachother had me smiling the whole way. The romance between team leader Mac and Jaimie was creative and perfect between the simultaneous plots. They further go to exploit the demented Dr. Whitney and his unknown supporters. I can’t wait to see the next in the series and further explore the characters that had a superb entry into our imaginations.
